Weekly Recommendations is a post I make every Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. The recommendations can be anime, video games, tabletop games, movies, series, or any other similar forms of entertainment. They might also vary in genres, themes, intended audience, and release date.

Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires

  • Video Game: PlayStation, Xbox, PC
  • Fighting, Strategy, Hack and Slash

Players take on the role of generals tasked with conquering and unifying ancient China. Characters can be created and customized, including special attacks, before being used in battle. You can either finish the campaign or participate in shorter battles unrelated to the game’s main story. This game can be played with one or two players.

Degree of Love

  • Webtoon: 76 Chapters
  • Romance

Yejin, a college student from a poor family, has no dating experience. Now at college, she hopes to find love and change that. When her childhood friend Hyeon, an exceptional taekwondo athlete and claimed best friend, shows up, he initially tries to help her find a boyfriend. But is he really her “best friend,” and does he genuinely want to help her find a boyfriend, or is there something more to his actions?

Gravity Falls

  • Cartoon: 40 Episodes
  • Adventure, Mystery, Comedy, Supernatural

Dipper and Mabel Pines are spending summer vacation with their great uncle Stan Pines in Gravity Falls, who owns a tourist trap called the Mystery Shack. However, when they start to experience unusual supernatural events, and Dipper discovers a mysterious diary, the two work together to uncover all of town’s secrets.
