As usual, I’m posting my Weekly Recommendations post, a post I make every Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment for you. These can be anime, comics, video games, tabletop games, and other similar forms of entertainment. They might also vary in intended audience, age, genre, and theme.

Love 4 a Walk

  • Webtoon: Ongoing
  • Romance, comedy

Pam and her long-time boyfriend adopted a dog together, but the dog’s bad behavior lands Pam in a position where she must choose her boyfriend or her dog. After choosing her dog, Bob, Pam’s determined to take care of him herself, but his behavior is still an issue, destroying the house while she’s at work and pulling her down the stairs when they go for walks. Luckily, her kind neighbor offers her help in dog training.

Michiko & Hatchin

  • Anime: 22 episodes
  • Action, Adventure

Hana Morenos lives in a foster home with an abusive family. She wishes a Prince Charming would whisk her away to a better life. Instead of a prince, Michiko Malandro, a motorcycle-riding criminal who escaped from prison, arrives to rescue Hana. Michiko claims to be Hana’s mother and wants Hana to help her find a man from Michiko’s past who she says is Hana’s father.

Warm Bodies

  • Movie
  • Horror, Comedy, Romance, Paranormal

After a zombie apocalypse, Earth’s inhabitants are divided into humans and zombies. R is a zombie who spends the majority of his life eating brains and wandering around one particular area. When he sees other zombies attacking a human girl, he decides to save her instead. Julie, the human girl, notices that R is different from the other zombies, and they begin a friendship that appears to be changing R and making him more human. As their bond grows, so do his changes, and those changes have the potential to change the zombie situation on Earth.
