It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for my Weekly Recommendations post. Weekly Recommendations is a post I make once a week where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment for you. This can include anime, comics, video games, board games, and other similar forms of media. They might also vary in intended audience, age, genre, and theme.

Princess Jellyfish

  • Manga: 17 volumes
  • Comedy, Romance

Since childhood, 18-year-old Tsukimi Kurashita wanted to be a princess. Instead, she is a plain and shy young woman who likes jellyfish. She lives in an all-female apartment building with two rules: stay away from men and fashionable people. Tsukimi had always followed the rules until she met a beautiful, princess-like woman while trying to save a spotted jellyfish. After letting the female spend the night, Tsukimi discovers that her guest is actually a young man named Kuranosuke, who is cross-dressing and seems interested in becoming Tsukimi’s friend.

Merlin

  • TV Show: 5 seasons
  • Medieval Fantasy, Adventure

Merlin, a young man with exceptional magical abilities, is sent by his mother to Camelot. In Camelot, magic is forbidden, and anyone found using it will be put to death. A dragon informs Merlin that helping the prince Arthur become a famous king is his destiny. Despite their initial hatred for one another, Merlin ends up becoming Arthur’s manservant after saving his life. Over time, the two become friends, and Merlin tries to shape Arthur into a great king.

I Stole the Number One Ranker’s Soul

  • Manhwa: Ongoing
  • Fantasy, Action, Comedy

Son Mo-Ah lives in a world plagued by dungeons filled with deadly monsters. Thankfully, hunters possess unique skills that allow them to defeat these creatures and steal their loot (much like in a video game). One day, Son Mo-Ah awakens as a hunter in a dungeon that appears in her bedroom; however, her main skill is item gathering. When she finds herself in another dungeon, she narrowly escapes death thanks to the number one hunter, Seo Ji-Han, but her interaction with him means she will no longer be able to live in peace and will have to face many other terrible monsters and people.
