If you have your own house or apartment, then you might want to add some of your personal style into your home. If you’re into anime, video games, comics, and all that good stuff, like me, there are plenty of options you can choose from to add a bit of those into your home. So, I thought I would make a list of 7 geeky home decor ideas. These will be general ideas so you can tweak them to whatever hobby or fandom you’re interested in.
Blankets
Everyone uses a blanket every now and then, especially during the colder months of the year. You can have a blanket for your bed, or you can buy a throw blanket. There are always plenty of options to choose from, including for Marvel, DC Comics, anime, and video games.
Rugs and Mats
You’ll find plenty of geeky rugs and mats out there. There are also other fans out there who make them. I’ve seen a lot of artists who have made Pokémon and tons of video game rugs that sell their work. You could always pick out a welcome mat to place at your door or have a regular rug inside your home somewhere.
Coasters
If you want to keep your coffee table or side tables nice, consider getting some coasters. They’ll serve a function by keeping your tables safe from any drinks, but you don’t have to get just any old coaster from the store. Do some research and you’ll find plenty of different, more unique coasters. You can get one based off of your favorite video game or any other fandom.

Plant Pots
Believe it or not, yes, you can get some really fun plant pots based off of some nerdy hobbies. While I don’t know if there are as many choices as the others on the list for this one, I do know you can get various pots of Pokémon like Bulbasaur and Oddish. Of course, there are also some options for comics as well, like Groot from Marvel.
Lamps and lights
Desk lamps, bedroom nightlights, and decoration lights—there are a lot of different options in this category. A quick Amazon search and you’ll see there are tons of options, like a Spider-Man lamp, various Minecraft options, lots of other video game ones, Star Wars, and even anime, like a Calcifer nightlight.
Clocks and Alarm Clocks
Not a lot of people use physical clocks anymore besides in a bedroom for an alarm clock, but there are some really cool wall clocks and alarm clocks for various fandoms. There are so many really cool Star Wars, Marvel, and DC Comics wall clocks, for example. And if you’re not one to want a wall clock for whatever reason, you could always just get an alarm clock to wake you up in the morning. There are actual alarm clocks that look like video game controllers and a lot of other choices.
Kitchen Magnets
If you have a refrigerator, it’s probably magnetic. You could always just get some magnets and place them on your fridge if you want to use them strictly for decoration, but they’ll also come in handy if you want to put something up on your fridge. For example, a lot of people place family pictures or important notices on their fridge. There are tons of options because all geeky hobbies have a lot of magnets to choose from.
Conclusion
Whatever hobby or fandom you’re into, chances are you’ll be able to find some really cool home decor options. Whether that be anime, comics, video games, or all of them just like me, there are a lot of choices to add your interests into your home with these 7 geeky home decor ideas.
