Alex Chin is a popular high school football player. Samantha Dixon, his tutor, is at the top of her class and hopes to turn her NASA internship into a career. Alex ends up in the hospital after sustaining a football injury, and his CT scan reveals abnormal results. After his doctor is murdered, he suspects he is being chased by someone. Alex runs, asking Samantha not to follow, but she refuses, especially after discovering that Alex’s adoptive parents are dead. The two race against the clock to outrun Alex’s pursuers and figure out why they are after him. However, the cause appears to be related to his background and his biological parents, whom he is unaware of, as well as a secret that his adoptive parents died to keep.
