I’m back with another Weekly Recommendations post where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. These can be anime, video games, comics, movies, books, and other similar forms of media. They might also vary in intended audience, age, theme, and genre.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Following the events of Order 66, Star Wars: The Bad Batch focuses on Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch, a group of clones with genetic mutations that make them different from the rest of the clones. When it’s discovered that they can resist the programming for Order 66, they must leave Kamino, along with a young female clone named Omega, and work as mercenaries as they try to keep Omega and themselves away from the hands of the Empire.
A Wicked Tale of Cinderella’s Stepmom
- Webtoon: Ongoing
- Fantasy, Romance
Mildred awakens to discover that she has been reincarnated into Cinderella’s story as the wicked stepmother, the day after learning that her husband in the story has died. She’s now the mother of three teenage girls, one of whom is Cinderella herself. She plans to treat them all fairly and to see that Cinderella marries the prince happily and smoothly. But things aren’t going as she planned, and a handsome young baron won’t leave her alone.
Tearmoon Empire
- Manga: Ongoing
- Comedy, Drama, Time Travel, Romance
Mia is the selfish princess of the Tearmoon Empire who is sentenced to death by guillotine, but right after the blade falls, she awakens in her bed as her younger self. Although she initially believes it is a dream, her diary from the future appears in front of her, proving that the future is real. She now plans to use her memories to prevent her death and protect the Tearmoon Empire from the turmoil of a revolt that would lead to her death.
