Weekly Recommendations is a post I write each Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. These could be anime, comics, video games, TV series, and other similar forms of media. They might also vary in themes, genre, intended audience, and age.

The Unbelievable Gwenpool

  • Marvel Comic Book
  • Adventure, Action, Comedy
  • Buy on Amazon

Gwen Poole was a regular comic book reader before she ended up inside of the Marvel comic book universe. She believes the world is fake and decides she wants to become a hero. The costume designer mistakenly assumed she wanted a Deadpool look based on her name and created Gwenpool. However, Gwen becomes a mercenary to make money, and she causes issues for other heroes and bystanders by treating everyone as disposable because they are only characters in a comic book. But when things become too real for her, she learns that these are real people, not fictional characters from comic books.

My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!

  • Manga: Ongoing
  • Comedy, Romance, Fantasy, Drama, Isekai

Catarina Claes is the Duke’s daughter. When she hits her head at the age of eight, she realizes she is the villain of an otome game she once played in her past life. However, the way she acts appears to attract all of the characters from the Otome game.
