I was talking with my coworkers the other day about board games and found that, like me, while they enjoy playing them, they oftentimes just don’t have people around that will play with them. I started to wonder if there were any board games that you could play on your own. Since I figured that others might have this same issue, I thought I would write a list of some single player board games. There are also games that are multiplayer but can be played solo on this list.

I haven’t played these myself, so it’s just going to be a list. But from what I can tell, many of these are where you can play against the game itself. I know that board games are usually more fun with other people; still, if you’re a fan of board games but it’s hard to get together with friends or family who also like playing them, then maybe these might satisfy your interest until you can find a time to have a game night with other people again.

These are not all the single player board games out there, so there’s surprisingly plenty more to choose from. All you have to do is pay attention to how many players is listed on the game, and even if there is range of 1-4, for example, then even that game can be played solo.
