Here’s my Weekly Recommendations post for this coming week. Weekly Recommendations is a post I write each Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. These could be anime, comics, books, movies, video games, or any other similar form of entertainment. They might also vary in intended audience, age, genre, and themes.

Maomao is a low-ranking servant in the Emperor’s outer court. She uses her knowledge as an apothecary she learned while growing up in the red-light district to help the emperor’s two young children when she finds out they are ill. Jinshi, an important eunuch, finds out about her skills despite her wish to hide them. After taking her to the inner court, Jinshi asks for her help with several problems that pop up all across the palace.

My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999

Akane Kinoshita’s boyfriend cheats on her with another woman he met through an online video game they both play. At an in-person event, she meets Akito Yamada, a fellow guild member in the game, who is also a talented gamer. He is initially aloof and rude, but Akane eventually comes to like him, and the two become friends. She begins to develop feelings for him, but Yamada is entirely inexperienced with love.

Fallout: The Board Game is a board game that is based on the Fallout video game series. Choose from a variety of scenarios to compete with other players and the game itself. There are main quests, side quests, area exploration, battling multiple Fallout series beings, interactions where you have to make decisions, and even going shopping for companions and gear.
