Weekly Recommendations is a post I write every Friday in which I recommend three different kinds of media for your entertainment. This can include anime, comics, books, TV shows, video games, and other similar forms of media.

Unicornus Knights

  • Board Game
  • Adventure, Dice, Strategy

A cooperative board game in which you play as generals entrusted with supporting the kingdom’s princess in reaching and reclaiming the capital after the Empire’s attack. You must clear the route by defeating enemies on the board who are impeding her path and prevent her from being killed. You play on a modular board and use dice rolls for combat. The game requires strategy because you must get the princess to the capital within a certain number of rounds, and events can make each turn more difficult.

My In-Laws are Obsessed with Me

  • Webtoon
  • Fantasy, Romance, Drama

Pereshati Jahardt is the daughter of a count. The count left all of his money and property to Pereshati following his death, but her stepmother and stepsister conspired with her betrothed to murder her and take the estate. Pereshati somehow travels back in time to the days leading up to her death. She intends to avoid death this time and exact revenge, and she believes that marrying the grand duke, Therdeo Lapileon, will be her only safe haven. However, the grand duke’s family is keeping a deadly secret from her, and she has just unknowingly stepped into the middle of it.

Princess Jellyfish

  • Anime
  • Comedy, Romance

Tsukimi Kurashita has dreamed of being a princess since she was a toddler. Instead, she’s a plain and shy young lady who likes jellyfish. She lives in an all-female apartment complex with two rules: avoid fashionable people and men. Tsukimi had always followed the rules until she encountered a stunning, princess-like woman while attempting to save a spotted jellyfish. Tsukimi finds, after allowing the female to stay overnight, that the person is not a woman at all but a cross-dressing young man named Kuranosuke, who appears to want to be her friend.
